On July 26, the European Commission announced that it would launch an investigation into the possible circumvention of the EUs anti-dumping measures (2020/1408) against some hot-rolled stainless steel sheet coils originating in Indonesia by delivering from Turkey, regardless of whether the products are declared to be of Turkish origin and such imports are under registration. The HS codes of the investigated products are 721911, 721912, 721913, 721914, 721922, 721923, 721924, 722011 and 722012, which were delivered from Turkey. The Taric codes are 7219110010, 7219121010, 7219129010, 7219131010, 7219139010, 7219141010, 7219149010, 7219221010, 7219229010, 7219230010, 7219240010, 7220110010, 7220120010.



According to the regulations, the investigation will be completed within 9 months.



Earlier, on June 17, the European Iron and Steel Association (Eurofer) submitted an application to the European Commission to investigate the possible circumvention of the EUs anti-dumping measures against hot-rolled stainless steel sheets originating in Indonesia, Chinese Mainland and Taiwan by delivering from Turkey.
