According to customs statistics and Mysteel research reports:

1、 In January 2023, the export volume of domestic stainless steel pipes was about 57500 tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.48%; A year-on-year decrease of 5.56%. In February 2023, the export volume of domestic stainless steel pipes was approximately 25200 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 56.2% and a year-on-year decrease of 13%.

In January-February, the cumulative export volume of domestic stainless steel pipes was about 82600 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 7.96%.

2、 Statistics of classified exports from January to December 2023:

1. In January, 24700 tons of stainless steel seamless pipes were exported, a year-on-year increase of 12.7% and a year-on-year decrease of 2.9%; In February, 10500 tons of stainless steel seamless pipes were exported, a year-on-year decrease of 9.0% and a year-on-year decrease of 57.2%; In January-February, the cumulative export of stainless steel seamless pipes was 35200 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 4.8%;

2. In January, 19000 tons of stainless steel welded pipes were exported, down 1.7% month on month and 5.7% year on year; In February, 8800 tons of stainless steel welded pipes were exported, a year-on-year decrease of 17.1% and a year-on-year decrease of 55.8%; In January-February, the cumulative export of stainless steel welded pipes was 28800 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 9.5%;

3. In January, 12900 tons of stainless steel and other pipes were exported, with a year-on-year increase of 9.1% and a year-on-year decrease of 10.1%; In February, 5800 tons of stainless steel and other pipes were exported, a year-on-year decrease of 13.3% and a year-on-year decrease of 54.9%; In January-February, the cumulative export of other stainless steel pipes was 18700 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 11.1%;



2、 In February 2023, the export volume of stainless steel pipes from the top ten regions in Chinese Mainland will be about 12100 tons, accounting for 48.05%; In January-February, the cumulative volume was about 41300 tons, accounting for about 50%. In February, due to weak overseas demand, the volume of major export destinations is now significantly reduced.
