On May 31, 2024, the European Commission issued a statement stating that it had made its second anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on seamless pipes and tubes of stainless steel originating in China. It ruled that if the anti-dumping measures were lifted, the dumping of the involved products and the damage caused to the EU industry by the dumping would continue or reoccur. Therefore, it decided to continue to maintain the anti-dumping duty on the Chinese involved products, with an anti-dumping duty rate of 48.6% to 71.9%. This case involves products under the EU CN (Combined Nomenclature) codes 7304 11 00, 7304 22 00, 7304 24 00, ex 7304 41 00, 7304 49 10, ex 7304 49 93, ex 7304 49 95, ex 7304 49 99, and ex 7304 90 00 (EU TARIC codes 7304410090, 7304499390, 730449990, 730449990, and 730490091). The dumping investigation period in this case is from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2019 to the end of the dumping investigation period.
